TRD-□V When should the line driver output be used?
Consider using it when the distance between the rotary encoder and the receiving control device is long, or when transmitting high pulses.
The line driver output is a signal transmission line compliant with TIA / EIA-422-B, and is a balanced line that takes noise immunity and long-distance transmission (up to 1,200 m) into consideration.
A line receiver is required on the receiving side.
Also, use a twisted pair cable and be sure to connect a terminating resistor of about 120Ω to the input terminal on the receiving side.
