Notes on moving from DS5 to KPP

Question

Question

I have a device that is running a staged program using D2-250-1.

I’m importing a project backed up by DirectSOFT with KPP and writing to D2-263, but I can’t write because many errors occur.

Answer

Answer

KPP has a function to check the output, timer, duplicate coil number of counter, and presence / absence of END instruction.

The choice of whether to do these can be set individually.

By default, all are set to “do”.

If you are using duplicate coils in a stage program, change these settings to “Do not perform”.

For the settings, select the “Conversion” tab from the KPP menu, “Preferences”-> “Options”, and uncheck unnecessary items.
